Vendor StatementCovalent Technologies announces the availability of patch releases for Covalent FastStart 3.x and Covalent ERS 2.x, addressing the SSL Private Key vulnerability. Covalent customers can access the downloads for their platforms at http://www.covalent.net/support/rotate.php?page=109. The patch release also addresses a number of other issues, including the Denial of Service attacked referenced at [http://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CAN-2003-0132]. Further information is available in the release notes for the patches.
All Covalent customers are urged to apply these patches as soon as possible. Covalent will also include these patches in the upcoming FastStart 3.3.3 and ERS 2.3.3 releases. Covalent customers with further questions should enter a support incident through the Covalent support console.
